Outline of ChuSanRen
In this period of great change, where should we set our course and how should we develop human resources?
To steer the ship and develop our people.
ChuSanRen (The Central Japan Industries Association) was established in 1948 as a public interest corporation under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (formerly the Ministry of Commerce and Industry), and inherited the aspirations of its predecessor, ShinSanRen (New Industries Association), to restore and develop the industrial world, and set its mission to support corporate management through proposals and projects related to management for tomorrow. As Japan pursues its goal of becoming a manufacturing powerhouse, ChuSanRen has developed into a nationwide management organization that develops business activities on a global basis. In 2012, we reorganized as a general incorporated association in accordance with revised laws and regulations, allowing us to further expand the scope of our support activities.
ChuSanRen supports the most important issues of every company with an all-in approach.
In 2018, we are celebrating the 70th anniversary of our founding, and while we are grateful to have approximately 740 companies and organizations currently participating as members, we are also acutely aware of the importance of our mission in the face of the global trend of great change. In the 70 years since the end of World War II, the world has closely watched the growth of Japanese manufacturing, but tomorrow may bring a phase of manufacturing that Japan has not yet experienced. With this sense of crisis in mind, ChuSanRen is prepared to reexamine its stance and role, launch an activity policy and new projects with an eye to the next generation, and thoroughly support corporate management and activities. We are concentrating our resources as a “new management specialist group” to creatively carry out our business objectives of “Conducting surveys, research, diagnosis, guidance, and dissemination of corporate management.” We aim to internationalize, specialize, and network our activities, and contribute to a wide range of industries and companies by resolving issues faced by Japanese companies through expansion of the scope of our activities, including research and development projects, consulting projects, human resource development projects, information security promotion projects, and collaborative support projects with government, academia, other organizations, and academic societies.
Today, the manufacturing environment is undergoing major changes with the advent of “IoT” and “AI.” The automobile industry is said to have undergone a once-in-a-century transformation due to the development of EVs, autonomous driving technology, and the expansion of mobility services. While this is a time to question old methods and ways of being, it is also an opportunity to open up new possibilities and a vision for tomorrow. We strive for innovation unique to us while improving daily. ChuSanRen will provide support to all companies that have the will to do so, from the creation of business mechanisms to the development of human resources, with an all-in approach.
